Tonight I am led to LUIS PONS, and I am redirected, guided and elated! His work coincides with THE DOOR PROJECT, my work in progress. I watched a film of Agnes Varda called " THE GLEANERS & I". I discover my gleaner heart! My feeling about art, as I create my own, is precisely in line with PONS':

Louis Pons (born 1927[1]) is a French collage artist. He specializes in reliefs and assemblages made entirely from discarded objects and junk.[2] In Agnès Varda's documentary The Gleaners and I, Pons explains his artistic process and understanding of art; what others see as "a cluster of junk," he sees as "a cluster of possibilities;"[3] and that the function of art is to tidy up one's inner and exterior worlds.[2]

It all begins with separation at birth
Then we experience the opposites here on Earth
darkness and lightness
we evolve and Learn
through contrast
There are no shortcuts
It is our personal mission
to find our way to wholeness through connection
like so many parts
of a puzzle
we are free to create
the big picture
one person at a time
beginning with ourselves making headway
making heartway
through awareness
tolerance and awaking
each day
in unity with all that is
